By completing this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of the following:-
The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in beauty therapy to a high level of occupational ability, enabling you to perform your own salon services.
These treatments will enhance skin quality and improve the effectiveness of serum and product delivery.
Duration: 1 Day a week – 6 sessions
Course times: 10-4.30pm
Pre-Req: Level 2 Facial Award
On completion of this course, you will gain a Level 3 Award in Facial Electrical Treatments, awarded by VTCT.
This qualification teaches advanced facial treatments using electrical equipment and technologies to improve skin condition, tone, and overall appearance. It builds on basic facial and skincare knowledge gained at Level 2.
It is designed for learners who have already completed a Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification (or equivalent) and want to progress into advanced skin and aesthetic treatments. It’s ideal for those aiming to work as advanced beauty therapists, skin specialists, or in aesthetics clinics.
You will study both theory and practice, including:
Skin analysis and treatment planning
Facial electrical treatments such as:
Galvanic
High Frequency
Microcurrent
Vacuum suction
Faradic
Microdermabrasion (with some providers)
Client consultation and aftercare advice
Health, safety, and professional practice
Most providers require a Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent facial skincare qualification). A good standard of English and communication skills is also necessary.
