This qualification is based on beauty therapy National Occupational Standards (NOS). This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications.

This advanced course trains learners in professional Lip micropigmentation techniques, including semi-permanent tattooing.
It is ideal for qualified beauty therapists or aesthetic practitioners who already have Level 3 qualifications in beauty therapy or related fields and want to specialise in micropigmentation.
The course typically covers:
Cosmetic tattooing (Eyeliner)
Colour theory and pigment selection
Skin anatomy and physiology
Health, safety, and hygiene standards
Client consultation and aftercare advice
Patch testing and managing contraindication
Entry onto this qualification must be via previous attainment of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline before undertaking this qualification.
