This unit is about providing microdermabrasion treatments to improve the appearance and condition of the skin on the face and body. To carry out this unit you will need to maintain effective health, safety and hygiene procedures throughout your work.
1 day a week for 3 weeks
This course trains learners in professional microdermabrasion techniques, a non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment that improves skin texture, tone, and appearance.
It is ideal for beauty therapists who already hold a Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent and want to specialize in advanced skin treatments.

Microdermabrasion theory and skin science
Practical treatment techniques on clients
Skin analysis and consultation
Health, safety, and hygiene standards
Client care and aftercare advice
A Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent is usually required, along with basic knowledge of skincare.
